Lea is a magic person. I first met her when she was my boss’s wife, this lady with a tiny baby who, in her non-existent downtime, somehow managed to start a successful kids’ clothing line of the most adorable garments you’ve ever seen.

I still don’t understand how she achieved that, let alone sashay back into the advertising industry to effortlessly become probably the best recruiter there is. She has made friends and fans across the globe, and I think it’s because, beyond the resumé, she seems to understand people, chemistry and potential in a deeper way. She really loves people and wants them to do well together. I completely trust her instincts - and I trust her honesty, which like most Aussies is charmingly brutal and clarifying.

She’s one of my absolute favorite humans, and I’m jealous of anyone who gets to work closely with her in her new company, which I would confidently invest my last dollar into.
